Biomarq Health is developing the first implantable biosensor that can continuously measure several key health markers—initially glucose, lactate, and body temperature—in real time. The sensor is inexpensive to produce, remains in the body for up to a year, and provides not only measurements but also directly actionable recommendations for patients. With plans to expand to include additional markers such as electrolytes, ketones, creatinine, and cortisol, the technology offers broad potential for prevention, diagnosis, and management of chronic diseases. The data can also be shared with treating physicians upon request to detect deterioration early and intervene more quickly.
