SmartCast

Together with experts in materials science and micro-electromechanical systems, we want to utilize smart materials combined with flexible sensors to create an orthosis capable to measure swelling reduction after a radius fracture, adjusting itself, and facilitating recovery. Therefore, we think that SmartCast can revolutionize non-surgical fracture treatment. After the initial market readiness of this technology, we aim for an expansion to additional medical conditions and the provision of assistive devices.
