BioDigit e.V's broad network of renowned scientists and entrepreneurs working at the intersection of biotechnology and digital innovation provides valuable resources, knowledge, and connections to our startups to accelerate their growth and bring innovative solutions to the market.
Since its foundation in 2018, the non-profit association BioDigit e.V. has been made up of partners from science and industry in order to pave the way for sustainable developments (Sustainable Development Goals) in the form of a strong cooperation network, particularly in biotechnology and the bioeconomy (keyword: biologisation). In this context, the areas of business, industry, technology and society benefit equally from the solutions made possible by biologisation - the approaches addressed are capable (in the form of linking biological knowledge and technical expertise) of creating new value chains that can achieve a complete circular economy and CO2 neutrality.
A modern bioeconomy addresses the following at least ten of the UN's seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs of the 2030 Agenda) directly.
