Alera Takes Second Place at Höhle der Karpfen
Our Batch start-up Alera took part in Höhle der Karpfen at the Maschseefest in Hannover and placed a strong second.
Together with five other start-ups from the region, Finn Borchers and Kai Köllemann presented their founding story and vision on stage. The focus was not only on business models, but also on the people behind the ideas and their motivation to address real-world challenges with innovative solutions.
Digital Support While Waiting for Therapy
With Alera, Finn and Kai are developing an app featuring a virtual psychotherapist. The aim is to support people with mental health conditions during the often long waiting period for a therapy place. In doing so, the team is addressing a challenge that affects many people and highlighting the potential of digital solutions in healthcare.
We are currently supporting Alera through our Hightech Incubator and are pleased to follow the team’s development. Congratulations to Finn and Kai on a great presentation and their second-place finish. We also thank the Höhle der Karpfen team for a successful evening and for providing a platform for Hannover’s diverse start-up scene.
