Focus Days for Batch 2: Creating Space for Exchange, Alignment and Shared Growth
With the Focus Days, the second batch of the BioIntelligence programme has officially entered its collaborative working phase. Over the past days, the emphasis was not only on the start-ups’ strategic and thematic development, but also on the quality of collaboration within and between teams — an essential factor in the early stages of deep-tech ventures.
The Focus Days created space for committed pitches, honest peer feedback and shared reflection. Formats such as Lego Serious Play opened up new ways of approaching topics like team roles, alignment and the question of how young teams position themselves when navigating serious innovation challenges. Especially in fields such as biotech, medtech and life sciences, where needs and conditions vary widely, it is important to create formats that support both individual development and collective learning.
This is exactly what the programme is designed to do: support start-ups with different technological and entrepreneurial starting points on their individual paths while embedding them in a strong community. In the weeks and months ahead, further workshops, deep dives, office hours, roundtables and peer formats will continue to strengthen the teams professionally, strategically and personally.
In this way, the Focus Days marked not only the beginning of the next phase of collaboration, but also highlighted how important spaces for exchange, reflection and new connections are within the ecosystem.
