Impulses from Hanover: Collaboration as a Key to a Strong Innovation Ecosystem
Alongside the German Biotech Days in Leipzig, BioIntelligence was also present in Hanover that same week — placing it right at the heart of Lower Saxony’s regional innovation and start-up ecosystem.
The 3rd Lower Saxony Innovation Dialogue focused on the question of how a forward-looking strategy for the region can be developed, particularly at the intersections of life sciences, agri-food, science, industry and start-up support. One theme ran through the entire day: collaboration. The future does not emerge in isolated silos, but where stakeholders from different fields work together on solutions, explore new approaches and actively support young companies.
That same strength of openness and connectivity was also visible at the International STARTUP MEETUP at HANNOVER MESSE. The format brought together founders, investors, familiar faces from Hanover’s start-up scene and other ecosystem actors in an open and accessible setting, highlighting the value of personal exchange and direct interaction within a vibrant ecosystem.
One conclusion stood out clearly from the week: Lower Saxony is home to many strong ideas, committed initiatives and relevant actors. The key will be to connect these strengths even more strategically and to further strengthen the links between research, entrepreneurship, support structures and application.
This is exactly where BioIntelligence sees its role as a high-tech incubator and innovation hub: not only supporting start-ups in life sciences, biotech and medtech, but also connecting them with the right partners, perspectives and structures across the ecosystem.
Our thanks go to VolkswagenStiftung, Niedersachsen.next Startup and hannoverimpuls GmbH for the organisation, the impulses and the space for exchange.
