Operations Workshop: Foundations for Sustainable Growth
"We'll deal with that later" is one of the most expensive phrases in the day-to-day operations of young start-ups. In last week's digital HTI Operations Workshop, we explored what happens when such matters are left unaddressed for too long, and how early planning can noticeably reduce growing pains.
The workshop moved through the essential foundations, from legal structure and employment contracts to liquidity planning. In conversation with the participating start-ups, it quickly became clear which points can genuinely turn critical, and where sound operational structures can actively drive growth further. The discussion remained open, hands-on, and grounded in concrete experiences from everyday founding life.
Our thanks go to Alexandra Obermaier for her assured and good-humoured moderation, as well as to the participating start-ups for their engaged contributions. The workshop was part of the HTI BioIntelligence programme, run with our current batch of start-ups in biotechnology, medical technology, and life sciences.
The HTI BioIntelligence programme is aimed at founders working on science-based innovation in life sciences, biotechnology, or medical technology who wish to further develop their start-ups. Applications for Batch #3 of the BioIntelligence high-tech incubator are open until the 31st of July. More information and application.
