Batch #2 Retrospectives

Recently, we held a retrospective together with our start-ups. The aim was to look back openly at the programme: What worked well? Where can we improve? And which experiences will the teams take away from their time with us?

For us as the HTI team, one of the most valuable aspects was reflecting on our own work. The discussions once again showed how important exchange within a batch can be. Even though the start-ups are at different stages of development, many of the challenges they face are similar. Sharing experiences, learning from one another and seeing how other teams approach comparable questions creates a kind of value that individual workshops alone cannot provide.

At the same time, these different development stages also play an important role in how we design the programme. Not every topic is equally relevant for every team at the same time. Workshops and programme content therefore need to remain flexible enough to respond to different needs, questions and levels of maturity.

Interactive formats were particularly well received. The feedback confirmed how valuable it is when teams can work directly on their own challenges instead of only receiving input. For us, this means continuing to create spaces where knowledge can be applied, discussed and translated into the specific context of each start-up.

The application process for financial support was another recurring topic. These processes can be complex and time-consuming, but the right support can make them much more manageable. This is also where targeted guidance can make a real difference by helping teams not only understand the process, but also take the next concrete steps.

We are taking these insights into the further development of our Hightech Incubator. A big thank you to all our start-ups for the open conversations, honest perspectives and valuable feedback.
